Skills Link Interns 2011

The Sou'west Coast has a new Community Media group, supervised by Natasha Keeping, Burnt Islands.
The group began work on February 7th and already they have been busy updating the website and producing a newsletter.
They will be busy interviewing citizens on local and political events, and also maintaining the 95.7 Coastal Community Radio station.
The interns are in the process of hosting the second annual Radio-thon.
This event will raise money for a new repeater transmitter for Port aux Basques to improve the range of the radio station.
Stay tuned for the date of the 2011 Radio-thon.
If anyone would like an announcement (birthdays, anniversaries and so on) aired,
they can contact any participant at the Burnt Islands town office (698-3110) or email
The Burnt Islands Economic Development Board Skills Link Interns will be working until July 1.
